Thousands of hungry children, families and seniors

 are depending on us this Thanksgiving season.

   Support from friends like you is vital to supplying the 3,800,000

pounds of food hungry children, families and seniors in need will

require over the next three months.  The East Texas Food Bank

services 26 East Texas counties.

   How can your gift to the 2008 Thanksgiving campaign can

touch lives?

• Provide our area’s seniors with food, so the don’t have to choose between buying medication and eating.
  
• Provide backpacks of food for low-income children who would otherwise have very little to eat over the weekend.
  
• Provide food for children to strengthen them and increase their ability to learn.
  
• Help fill the distribution center with food for Thanksgiving meals, increasing the amount of food that can be distributed to feed people in need.
  
• Provide healthy food and a nutritious diet for children, families and seniors during the holidays.
  
• Help some of our area’s hardest-working parents “make ends meet” by supplementing the groceries they are able to buy with food from the East Texas Food Bank.
  
• Help fill our trucks with gasoline so we can efficiently deliver food to those who desperately need it.
